The Day I Almost Drowned

My friends and I went to Scarborough Beach yesterday to have some fun, play with the waves and all, which was great because the wind was blowing and the wave was pretty big. But then it got too strong and before we know it, we got caught in the rip. We tried to swim back to the beach but the current kept pulling us to the sea. I was so tired, it was hard even just to stay afloat and breath. I really felt like drowning and couldn't get to the surface anymore because my legs were too tired, but luckily I reached the shore.  I couldn't even walk anymore, I asked some guy on the beach to pull me out of the water.

Then I tried to scream to my other friends who weren't swimming to get someone to help the others who were still in the water, but I had no energy left to scream. hahaha. And they first thought I was joking. So I kept saying "HELP", "COULDN'T GET BACK", "SERIOUS", while pointing at the sea. Finally they understood and ran for help. Some girls helped my friend out of the water and gave her a first aid treatment for drowning, then the ambulance arrived. She's OK then, didn't need to go to the hospital or anything. We went home afterwards.

After we got home, I took a shower and ... do my homework. hahaha. Even after all that, life goes on... instantly. The next day, some of my friends stayed home and skip work. I went to school but there was a weird feeling inside. We all felt a bit traumatized for a few days. Another good experience in my life ^_^.
